Chief Scout's Silver Award

Tips
  • If you haven’t quite finished your Chief Scout’s Silver Award by the time you move on to Scouts, you can complete anything left during your first term in your new Scout Troop.
  • When you move on to Scouts you can wear your Chief Scout’s Silver Award on your Scout uniform, until you earn your Chief Scout’s Gold Award.
  • Cubs should have the chance to take charge of their own award. Wherever possible, it should be up to you to work towards your own goals, and make suggestions about what you’d like to tackle next.
This is the highest award a Cub Scout can earn. To complete it, you need to earn six Activity or Staged Activity Badges of your choice, as well as all seven of the Challenge Awards. The Chief Scout’s Silver Award shows that you’ve given new things a go, played your part, and stuck it out, even when the going got tough. It’s a really big achievement, and you should be proud.

How to earn your badge:
  1. Finish the seven challenge awards. They are:

2. Earn six activity or staged activity badges of your choice. They could be badges you gain outside your normal meetings or ones you’ve worked towards at meetings.
