A warm welcome to the ​17th Nene (The Hamptons) Scout Group
Our Scout Group was formed back in May 2002; and we provide Scouting opportunities for the young people aged between 4 to 14 years for The Hamptons in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.​

Our Community Area

Our Scout Group is here to provide Scouting to young people in the area of 
'The Hamptons' in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire but Scouting is fully inclusive so it doesn't matter where are you live, Scouting and the 17th Nene (The Hamptons) Scout Group is here for you and our Scout Group is happy to welcome you into our Sections. 

Our Sections
Four Youth Sections make up our Scout Group 

Squirrel Scouts - Purdy Drey
4 to 6 years, Tuesday 17:15 - 18:15
To help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it's most needed.

Beaver Scouts - Grylls Colony
6 to 8 years, Monday 18:00 - 19:00
Try new things. Make new friends. Joining Beavers is just the beginning of your big adventure.

Cub Scouts - Baden-Powell Pack
8 to 10½ years, Thursday 19:00 - 20:30 
Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

Scouts - Duncan Troop
10½ to 14 years, Tuesday 19:00 - 20:30
Jump in and get muddy. Give back and get set. Scouts ignore the butterflies and go for it.

Young Leaders' Scheme - Explorer Scouts
14 to 18 years
Explorer Scout Young Leaders are Explorer Scouts who volunteer alongside adult leaders in a Squirrel Drey, Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop.
