Volunteer's Incentive
The 17th Nene (The Hamptons) Scout Group are looking for additional Adult Volunteers to join all our Sections and Group Trustee Board. The Scout Group is committed that no Section will have to close due to lack of volunteers and that our volunteers are able to operate flexible volunteering and not having to feel like they have to attend every week or the section would not be able to operate.
Our Scout Group is launching a new Volunteer’s Incentive where if you volunteer with our Scout Group on a regular basis you will be entitled to a 50% discount on your yearly young person subscriptions to the Scout Group, this will be a saving of £60.00 per year! For terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the is page.
The Aim
The aim of this incentive is to increase the number of volunteers across the Scout Group and by giving something back to our volunteers for the time they give us; this will in turn provide better Scouting to our young people from the Hampton Community.
Ideal Adult Volunteers Numbers
Working on the outdoor ratios on each section; below is the ideal level of adult volunteers (including Section Leader, Assistant Section Leader, or Section Assistant) needed for each section; including the Group Scout Leader for the Scout Group; the Group Trustee Board is for the officers (Group Chair, Group Secretary, Group Treasurer and the Group Administrator – Subscriptions). The Scout Troop is increased on the ratio numbers to allow for flexible volunteering.
